Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner

Bachelor of Psychological Sciences Diploma of Dementia

Caralyn Collins has joined the Hearth Allied Health team as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner.

She has a Bachelor of Psychological Sciences from Swinburne University and a Diploma of Dementia from the University of Tasmania.

Being a lifelong learner, currently Caralyn Collins is now also undertaking a Masters of Positive Psychology with Central Queensland University.

Caralyn dedicated the majority of her career to working in the Aged and Disability Sectors with over 25 years’ experience in supporting people with complex needs and behavioural supports.

Caralyn Collins has also worked as a Trainer and Assessor in the Disability and Aged Sectors, delivering training in Diploma of Community Services and Certificates in Disability and Individual Support.

With a focus on building a strong care team around the person, Caralyn’s speciality areas are Dementia, Autism Spectrum Disorder and providing behaviours support for children.

She is a passionate and enthusiastic Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner with a focus on building the quality of life for the person.
