Hearth Support Workers, Relationship Managers & Support Staff recently came together to connect & celebrate Hearths fifth birthday at Richmond Barefoot Bowls

We were thrilled by the response to our Richmond Barefoot Bowls event attendees said that it was “great to be able to meet people face to face and to put a name to a face.” They also felt that being able to socialise and have fun with their peers whilst participating in an activity was the perfect way to spend a Friday afternoon.

From a bowling perspective, it was a very casual affair with not everybody keeping score, but support worker Adrian was a standout on the day! Well done, Adrian.

Working one on one as a disability Support Worker can at times feel isolating and challenging. Hearth “Connects” provide Support Worker peer to peer support.
