Hearth Support Services – Mask Action Plan Update <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n On the 20th<\/sup> of July we put in place a two-step \u201cAction Plan\u201d in response to the Victorian Premiers announcement<\/a> on July 19th \u00a0\u201cFace Coverings Mandatory<\/strong> For Melbourne And Mitchell Shire\u201d, \u201cthis new rule won\u2019t be enforced until after 11.59pm on Wednesday 22 July\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n To keep you informed we have updated our plan below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Latest Advice from the Victorian DHHS about \u201cthe use of\nmasks by disability workers\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition to the Victorian\nPremiers announcement<\/a> , we have received\nadvice from the DHHS on the \u201cuse of masks by disability workers\u201d. As a result,\nall Hearth Support Workers must <\/strong>wear a mask during the entirety of their\nshift to assist their health and safety and that of the participant. If for any\nreason this is not possible, you need to advise your relationship manager\nimmediately. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Step 1 – Immediate Action \u2013 Ensure all Support Workers\nhave access to a disposable mask<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We have couriered 10 surgical masks to every member of our\nentire Support Worker team last week. We anticipate that all masks will be\ndelivered by 5pm on Wednesday the 29th of July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you haven\u2019t received your 10 pack of masks by this date\nplease email info@hearthaustralia.com.au<\/a>\nso that we can follow-up your delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Step 2 \u2013 Follow up Action \u2013 Source reusable masks <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We are not certain about the ongoing supply &\ndistribution of single use masks, given the significant general community\ndemand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
