{"id":1642,"date":"2020-05-11T11:32:06","date_gmt":"2020-05-11T01:32:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.hearthaustralia.com.au\/?p=1642"},"modified":"2021-07-16T08:49:50","modified_gmt":"2021-07-15T22:49:50","slug":"care-pack-update-for-hearth-support-workers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging.hearthaustralia.com.au\/care-pack-update-for-hearth-support-workers\/","title":{"rendered":"Care Pack Update &#8211; for Hearth Support Workers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Hearth Support Services <strong>Care Pack Update &#8211; <\/strong>for Hearth <strong>Support\nWorkers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may be aware that on March 16<sup>th<\/sup> the Hearth Support Services team started contacting as many of our Participants and <strong>Support Workers<\/strong> as possible to see if there was any way we could assist our community of Participants and or their <strong>Support Workers<\/strong> during the coronavirus pandemic beyond what we already deliver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The feedback we received indicated that on top of dealing with the challenges of COVID-19 and everything that entails, shortages of personal protection equipment (PPE) were making life even more challenging and stressful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Consequently, as part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/staging.hearthaustralia.com.au\/hearthcap\/\">Hearth COVID-19 Action Plan<\/a> we began sourcing PPE from wherever we could, which as you know is not easy because demand has outstripped supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The good news is that we have received our final delivery of PPE, so the Hearth Head Office Team has been able to start delivering <strong>Hearth Care Packs<\/strong> today where we can! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each Hearth Care Pack contains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>1 x pack (100) of small Ansell nitrile gloves<\/li><li>1 x pack (100) of medium Ansell nitrile gloves<\/li><li>20 x Ultra shield Alcohol towelettes<\/li><li>7 x Med-con Surgical Face Masks<\/li><li>2 x 60ml Hand Sanitiser <\/li><li>1 x COVID-19 Front Door Sign<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We appreciate that not every Participant and or you, their <strong>Support Worker<\/strong> will need and or be able to use everything in our care pack.
